GENOMICS

Clinical Genomics

Lowering barriers to translating genomic knowledge into clinical practice by:

  • Providing genetic integration of genomic and genetic data into EMR, HIS, and LIMS for on-site and external Laboratories following HL7’s FHIR Genomic specifications
  • Allowing real time navigation through genomic features representing different types of data over many types of genomic information present in variants detected both in somatic and germline samples

  • Automated workflow: Importing data and NGS files (FASTQ, BAM, VCF, GFF, BED…), checking for QA, processing it, visualizing the results, and generating reports in any browser

  • Clinical interpretation: Exploration and evaluation of prioritized and annotated variants, variant filtering (by region, functional consequence, VAF, etc), curation and clinical annotation for historical review and creating an on-premise genomic knowledgebase
  • Integrating with with eCRF or CDM for Clinical Trials
PHARMACOGENOMICS

Pharmacogenomics

Pharmacogenomics for adverse medication event prevention, and Precision Medicine application at the point of care:

  • Incorporates sources of drug-gene interaction data that were previously only available in inaccessible formats (e.g. tables in a PDF document), implementing the major Pharmacogenomic databases (like PharmGKB, CGI, DGIdb, OpenTargets...)

  • Allows the user to refine their query to certain gene families, types of interactions, classes of drugs, etc.

  • Provide modules to add into the EMR (Electronic Medical Record) the integration of known drug-gene interactions and potentially druggable gene data with the patient's genetic background to improve clinical care

  • Supports different warning levels in the EHR for drug/genomic-variants interactions

  • Helps to add and curate your own data, and annotate genes of interest with respect to known drug-gene interactions and potential druggability
ANALYTICS AI/ML

Analytics AI/ML

Flexible AI means you can choose the data set that best fits your use case, and apply it to your relevant medical images.

We include a training set for Prostate Cancer as a starting point, but that’s only the beginning! The AI setting allows the user to choose the desired

model from the list of all available models along with their descriptions.

Choose your own dataset and algorithm

Flexible AI is the result of a collaboration of the Medical Informatics Laboratory at Queen’s University and Surgical Planning Laboratory at Harvard Medical School, which enables deployment of AI models for

radiologists’ second opinion with the help of AI, while simultaneously providing standard image viewing and reporting schemes.

TELEMEDICINE/COLLABORATION

Telemedicine / Collaboration

Via secure videoconference, shared screen, text, and audio. Enabling remote and synchronous / asynchronous:

  • Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) collaboration
  • Telemedicine
  • Teleradiology
  • Telepathology
  • Other modules: dashboard, data auditing, logging, cloud security ("SPLIT"), Direct Transfer, etc.

“We firmly believe that Kanteron’s responsive, ultra-practical, and user-friendly interface alongside the platform’s ability to operate as a single solution integrated with the workflow at the point of care provides a uniquely powerful value proposition.”
