Why do we do what we do? It all started with a love story.
Read the whole story in Microsoft's news site:
Kanteron Systems is a privately held Healthcare IT – Biomedical Informatics company founded in 2005 that helps healthcare providers manage imaging and genomic data effectively for precision medicine applications at the point of care.
With offices and subsidiaries in London (UK), Madrid (Spain), and European HQ in Valencia (Spain), Kanteron Systems' solution has already been deployed over 500 times in 12 countries, at some of the world's largest healthcare networks like the American College of Radiology in the USA, the NHS in the UK, Seguridad Social in Spain, ISSSTE in Mexico, or EsSalud in Peru.
Kanteron Systems develops, co-develops, finances, participates, integrates, certifies, offers support and/or markets open-source and free software solutions.
PLEASE NOTE: in strict observance of the Free Software Foundation (FSF) General Public License (GPL) we use commercially for all our solutions, and in which we fully believe and we fully support, FREE SOFTWARE is "free" as in "freedom". FREE SOFTWARE ⇏ (does not necessarily mean) "GRATIS" or "NO COST". It doesn't mean either that the source code has to be available to anyone else than the customer/user. We do make our source code available to all our customers, and actively participate in many free software projects, like: dcm4che (our developers participate actively in the project), Horos (we are partners), Osirix (we were Diamond Partners, and the largest private funding donors), and others, while also developing our own solutions from scratch, based on standards and best practices such as IHE, HL7 or DICOM and technologies like: Kanteron tech stack
